Venture Director

As Venture Director you will lead interdisciplinary teams and demanding clients through the complex process of venture building while taking strategic and operational responsibility. Furthermore, you independently establish new lead customers and initiate new projects.

Your tasks

You…

… generate new lead customers on your own and, at best, bring an exciting network with you.
… frame newly initiated projects with scope, goals, and hypotheses.
… lead projects through all phases of the Bitrock Venture Building process: from idea generation, validation, development to start-up, and scaling.
… coordinate and manage several projects, while always acting independently.
… inspire and mentor your colleagues, while establishing psychological safety.
… examine and structure market analyses, business cases, marketing, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
… evaluate and validate new business ideas.
… ensure sustainable and efficient working methods within the project teams.

Your skills

Ideally, you bring along:

• Diploma, Master’s degree, MBA or comparable education
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in agile product management (project management, founding a start-up, etc.) including at least 2 years with leadership experience
• Very high coordination and communication skills
• Sparkling and pleasant appearance for the quick acquisition of potential customers
• Technical affinity (AI, IoT and else should not only be known as buzzwords)
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking (with a good dose of creativity)
• A proactive and structured way of working, which requires both, hands-on and collaborative teamwork
• You can enthuse people of new technologies, business models or personal interests
• You have no problem swimming against the current of the Isar (at 15°C) with your team 😉
• Fluent in German and English is a must
